Tradiqo ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information when you use the Tradiqo platform and associated services. By using Tradiqo, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

Account & Identity Information:

  • Full name and email address
  • Password (stored as a one-way hash — never readable by us)
  • Phone number (if provided)

Business Information:

  • Business name, address, and registration/tax number (e.g. ABN, EIN)
  • Business logo and branding materials
  • Business email and phone number

Payment Information:

  • Billing details and payment card information — processed and stored solely by Stripe, Inc. Tradiqo does not store full card numbers.
  • Subscription and transaction history

Customer Data You Enter:

  • Your clients' names, phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses
  • Job details, quotes, invoices, notes, photos, and documents you create or upload
  • Any other content you input into the platform relating to your customers or business operations

Usage & Technical Data:

  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Pages visited, features used, and session duration
  • Error logs and crash reports

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Tradiqo platform
  • Process your subscription and billing via Stripe
  • Send transactional emails and SMS (invoices, receipts, job updates, account notices)
  • Provide customer support and respond to your enquiries
  • Improve platform features, fix bugs, and develop new functionality
  • Send marketing communications about Tradiqo updates, new features, and offers (you may opt out at any time)
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 or equivalent standards.

File storage: Files, photos, and documents you upload are stored via Cloudflare R2, Cloudflare's secure object storage service, located in data centres globally.

Communications: Transactional and marketing emails are sent via Resend. SMS messages are sent via Twilio.

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no online system is 100% immune to breaches. We encourage you to use a strong password and to keep your account credentials confidential.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following trusted service providers, who are contractually bound to handle data securely and solely for the purposes we specify:

  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and subscription billing
  • Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery
  • Twilio Inc. — SMS message delivery
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — file and object storage (R2)
  • Secure cloud infrastructure — underlying platform hosting and database services

We may also disclose information to law enforcement or regulatory bodies when required by applicable law.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated personal data
  • Data Export — request a portable export of your data
  • Opt-out of Marketing — unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time (unsubscribe links are included in all marketing emails)
  • Restriction — request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances
  • Complaint — lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

6. Email & Communications Compliance

Tradiqo is committed to compliant email and SMS marketing practices in line with the CAN-SPAM Act (United States), Australia's Spam Act 2003, and other applicable anti-spam legislation. The following commitments apply to all marketing communications:

  • All marketing emails will include a clear, functioning unsubscribe link that immediately honours opt-out requests
  • All email subject lines will honestly and accurately reflect the content of the email — no deceptive or misleading subject lines will ever be used
  • All marketing emails will include Tradiqo's physical mailing address in the footer
  • Users may opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time via account settings or the unsubscribe link
  • Users who opt out of marketing will continue to receive essential transactional emails (invoices, receipts, account security notices, and service updates) as these are necessary to provide the service
  • We will not send commercial electronic messages without a legitimate basis (consent, existing business relationship, or other permitted purpose under applicable law)

7. User-Generated Content & Liability

Users of Tradiqo may upload, input, or generate content including customer data, photos, documents, notes, and other files ("User Content"). The following terms apply to all User Content:

  • You are solely responsible for all User Content you upload or input into the platform
  • Tradiqo does not pre-screen User Content and makes no representations regarding its accuracy, legality, or appropriateness
  • You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and consents to upload any customer or third-party data — including that your customers have been informed their details will be stored on a digital platform
  • Tradiqo disclaims all liability for User Content and any consequences arising from its use
  • Tradiqo reserves the right to remove any User Content that violates these terms or applicable law, without prior notice
  • By using the platform, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tradiqo from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your User Content

8. DMCA / Copyright Policy

Tradiqo respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We will respond to valid notices of copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable law.

To Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice:

Send a written notice to our Designated DMCA Agent (contact below) including:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • The URL or specific location within Tradiqo where the allegedly infringing material is located
  • Your contact information (name, address, phone number, and email)
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-Notice Process:

If you believe content you uploaded was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notice to our DMCA Agent including: your contact information, identification of the removed content and its location before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed by mistake, your consent to jurisdiction, and your signature. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant initiates court action.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the platform, remember your preferences, and analyse usage. Essential cookies are required for the platform to function. Analytics and preference cookies may be disabled. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.

10. Children's Privacy

The Tradiqo platform is intended for use by adults operating trade businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete that information.

11. International Data Transfers

Tradiqo is a global service. Your data may be processed and stored in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using Tradiqo, you consent to such transfers. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data in cross-border transfers.

12. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (e.g. financial records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax compliance purposes). Backup copies may persist for up to 30 additional days before being fully purged.

13. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, Tradiqo will notify affected users without undue delay and, where required by law, will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. Notifications will include the nature of the breach, categories of data affected, likely consequences, and measures taken to address it.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or by displaying a prominent notice within the platform, and we will require you to re-accept the updated policy before continuing to use Tradiqo. The "Version" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
